BASHA is an American artist and the founder of Absgraff®, a proprietary visual language that transforms the raw energy of graffiti into disciplined abstract form.

Active since the mid-1990s, his practice explores rhythm, spatial tension, and visual systems through restrained compositions where dense gesture is organized into structured fields.

Working across painting, installation, and architectural environments, BASHA examines how visual systems influence perception, movement, and spatial authority.

His work has been exhibited in galleries and cultural institutions across the United States and internationally, and is held in private collections throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

He is also the founder of Art Over Destruction, a nonprofit focused on youth development, creative regulation, and mental health through structured art practice.
